Setting Private nameserver.

As a reseller webhost you may want to hide the details of the host whose service you are using. These can be done having private nameservers for your account rather then usign nameservers which are given by your webhost.
First of all decide the nameserver you want to set for your account. Usually all reseller keep their domain name in their nameserver part for eg : if your domain is yourdomain.com then you can keep nameservers as ns1.yourdomain.com and ns1.yourdomain.com. For using private nameservers firstly you need to register then from your registrar end. You can do it by your own ust by getting into your registrar’s domain control panel and register nameserver you want or you can also ask them to register private nameservers for you.

How to set private nameserver usign WHM :
You can easily set your nameserver through your WHM control panel.
Access your WHM control panel using server IP as http://ServerIP/whm then click on IP Functions >> show IP address usage and check free IP or you can also choose your primary & secondary IP address.
Access your WHM usign http://IP/WHM >> Basic cPanel/WHM setup now scroll down and reach to Primary nameserver ns1.yourdomain.com and click on “Assign IP address” and then “Add an A entry for this name server” in same way do it for secondary Nameserver as ns2.yourdomain.com

You can check nameserver status using : http://www.dnsstuff.com
